Moving....such a pain!!

My family is in the process of a move right now and boy, is it a pain! Our new house (which we completely gutted and are redoing) is behind schedule, as construction always is! It seems like the contractors never clean up after themselves. Moving is always a hassle but even more so with an 8 month old baby who wants my attention (and who I love so much and want to give him my constant attention!). I hate packing boxes when I could be playing with him but for the most part he's doing well with it as long as I put on Sid the Science Kid or give him some toys. We take breaks and go out for walks together, which he loves. If you have a move coming up, you may want to check out this Money Under 30 article I wrote about how to making the process easier: Tips to Make Moving Easier

My Take on the Election

Whether you are a Democrat or Republican, the election is over and our president has been chosen. It's time to stop being negative and support and pray for our president. There is no perfect president, there is no perfect party. Let's rejoyce in the fact that God is King of all, He is in control!

Are you on Pinterest? Here's a tip

I recently joined Pinterest and love it. There are a plethora of great ideas, recipes and tips. Every year in my family we do a secret santa for Christmas. I've decided that instead of emailing everyone a wishlist I'm just going to create a Christmas list on my pinterest and then direct everyone to that. Way easier and faster! Check it out plus the rest of my boards here!

California Vote YES on 34 Californians, you have an amazing opportunity right now to repeal the death penalty. Here are some reasons I personally am voting yes on 34: -The financial savings to the state of California will be SIGNIFICANT - see the link for details CLICK HERE -Matthew 38 Eye for Eye 38 “You have heard that it was said, ‘Eye for eye, and tooth for tooth.’[h] 39 But I tell you, do not resist an evil person. If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to them the other cheek also. 40 And if anyone wants to sue you and take your shirt, hand over your coat as well. 41 If anyone forces you to go one mile, go with them two miles. 42 Give to the one who asks you, and do not turn away from the one who wants to borrow from you. - As a Christian I believe as it says in the Bible that God has numbered each of our days. When we choose to kill someone on our own time even if that person has committed a horrible sin, we are not allowing for the amazing transformation and forgiveness of sin that God may have in store in accordance with His own perfect timing. - Innocent people have been put to death For more information, visit SAFECALIFORNIA.ORG

Win Breastea and an adorable baby onsie!

As a new mom, I am exclusively breastfeeding. My plan is to breastfeed for a year. In the beginning it seemed like my milk supply was endless. But lately I've noticed that as my baby is getting hungrier, I feel like I'm needing to increase my supply.

I was checking out one of my favorite blogs, "My Life as a Mother and Single Parent" and I read about Breastea. Breastea is an herbal tea that helps boost milk supply in nursing women.

Breastea can be purchased online at http://www.breastea.com. When I went to the website I discovered they also have a variety of nursing clothes and adorable Christian clothes for babies.

Check out http://www.angelface79.blogspot.com/2012/04/blog-contest-win-5-pack-of-breastea.html

Why haven't I posted in a while?

Please meet my beautiful baby! :)
