§ On February 1st 2010, at the young age of 13, Spencer Fox became paralyzed from the chest down after a snowboarding accident. After numerous hours of physical therapy, Spencer is able to breathe on his own and push his own wheelchair. The Belly Up Tavern (143 S Cedros Ave Ste T in Solana Beach) is holding a benefit event for Spencer this Sunday, February 20th from 3 to 7pm for $25.
