The Bikes for Kids Foundation, based in La Jolla, provides free bicycles to disadvantaged children in San Diego county. Camp Reach for the Sky is a camp for kids from ages 8-18 who have or have had cancer. The camp takes place at a facility near Cuyamaca mountains and kids enjoy friendship, swimming, archery, campfires and other confidence-building activities. The next resident oncology camp will be July 4-9 and the next day camp will be July 18-23. This is a great volunteering opportunity!
