Your Natural Baby Fair - Free Event and also looking for volunteers

Earth Day!

It's almost time for EarthFair 2011! Held in Balboa Park on Sunday April 17th from 10am to 5pm, it promises to be a big event! There will be music, food, vendors and demonstrations. More than 400 volunteers are needed each year to make Earth Fair a success. The Jeffrey Modell Foundation

The Jeffrey Modell Foundation has been helping children with Primary Immunodeficiencies (when a child's immune system has a defect, resulting in reoccurant infectctions) for over 25 years. One of the ways they help is by providing an online resource to families, doctors, researchers and the public with information about Primary Immunodeficiencies as well as treatments. Animal Rescue Resource Foundation

San Diego-based Animal Rescue Resource Foundation works to provide pet adoptions and rescues, support low cost spaying and neutering of pets and educate the public about animal rights issues. Camp Reach for the Sky

Camp Reach for the Sky is a camp for kids from ages 8-18 who have or have had cancer. The camp takes place at a facility near Cuyamaca mountains and kids enjoy friendship, swimming, archery, campfires and other confidence-building activities. The next resident oncology camp will be July 4-9 and the next day camp will be July 18-23. This is a great volunteering opportunity! A Reminder for the Ex 4 Vets Aerob-A-Thon and Fitness Expo

Don't forget about Saturday April 9th! From 7:30 to 10:30 am, Embrace: Unity for Activity and Never Knew a Father's Love, a ministry of the Rock Church, are teaming up for Ex 4 Vets -  "exercising to support our Veterans". On the USS Midway (910 North Harbor Drive, San Diego) there will be fitness training and fun plus after the event there will be food and an expo to enjoy. San Diego Center for the Blind and Vision Impaired increases the abilities of people with impaired vision or blindness, so that they can become as independent as possible. Located on El Cajon Blvd in San Diego and Bonair Rd in Vista, the center is looking for volunteers to read one-on-one with adult students and also for teacher's aides.
