Take Steps for Crohn’s and Colitis
Crohn's Disease and Colitis are two chronic digestive disorders which can result in extreme pain, fatigue and other complications. On May 14th, San Diegans are getting together a NTC Park at Liberty Station, to walk, helping raise money to fight Crohn's Disease and Colitis. Not a morning person? San Diego-based Animal Rescue Resource Foundation works to provide pet adoptions and rescues, support low cost spaying and neutering of pets and educate the public about animal rights issues. Camp Reach for the Sky
Camp Reach for the Sky is a camp for kids from ages 8-18 who have or have had cancer. The camp takes place at a facility near Cuyamaca mountains and kids enjoy friendship, swimming, archery, campfires and other confidence-building activities. The next resident oncology camp will be July 4-9 and the next day camp will be July 18-23. This is a great volunteering opportunity!
