Today, Sunday December 12, from 12-4pm, Kids Korps, an organization that engages kids and teenagers in community service, will be holding a special Santa “Cause” village event at the Flower Hill Promenade in Del Mar (2720 Via De La Valle). At the event, you can drop off your recyclable electronics such as computers, monitors, keyboards, used ink cartridges and routers, to be used for a great cause – helping less fortunate kids. You can also make holiday crafts and blankets for needy children and Christmas cards for the troops. There will be food available and you can get your child’s picture taken with Santa from 12-2pm.
