The San Diego chapter of Susan G. Komen for the Cure actively works to combat breast cancer, through the funding of research grants, health education, screening, treatment and awareness. Up to 75% of the chapter’s net income is used for grants to local hospitals and organizations that help fight breast cancer. Susan G. Komen for the Cure of San Diego is looking for volunteers, with all different types of talents and schedules.
